Aims: This network aims to link and provide peer support for Occupational Therapists in Mental Health whose work is underpinned by a psychodynamic frame of reference. The exchange provides a forum in which to share, discuss and reflect on aspects of clinical and organisational practice.

Audience: Occupational Therapy staff with working experience in Psychotherapy or Occupational Therapists with a post-graduate qualification in the psychodynamic field, or Occupational Therapists who have published psychodynamic material or are educators using a psychodynamic model.

Aims: There are approximately 3,000 referrals made to NHS physiotherapists in Scotland per month of people suffering low back pain problems. Recent
guidelines from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, together with those
from other validated sources, will be used to undertake a national audit to
establish current management, suggest national standards and local
improvement plans and subsequent re-audit. This ground breaking project will evaluate what core standards for this physiotherapy management of LBP
patients exist, irrespective of geography. This project will start in April
2008 and will run for one year.

1. To obtain a baseline measurement of the present physiotherapy management of LBP within NHS Scotland.
2. To develop actions plans to address any issues raised from 1st cycle and
re-evaluate their impact.
3. To produce a minimum standard of competency of the physiotherapy
management of LBP throughout NHS Scotland, and contribute to the str

Aims: The National Prospective Cancer Audit Working Group has been set up with the aim of furthering the implementation of prospective cancer audit through providing support to staff involved.

The group will be able to discuss common issues and problems and to raise these through appropriate channels. It will also allow for good communication about national prospective audit both between staff involved and other linked local and Scottish national and UK organisations.
